Parkdeck Zollverein

Nicht nur aus der Vogelperspektive ist das 2019 eingeweihte Parkdeck Zollverein auf der Kokerei kaum zu erkennen. Harmonisch fügt es sich ein in die Flächen vor der neuen Zentrale von RAG AG und RAG-Stiftung. Statt es aus der Landschaft herauszuheben, wurde das Parkgeschoss vorwiegend als Tiefgarage angelegt und mit einer begrünten Landschaftsplatte überbaut. Durch das indirekte Beleuchtungskonzept werden Aufgänge und Einfahrten farblich akzentuiert. 357 Stellplätze, davon fast ein Drittel mit Ladestationen, stehen bereit.

The multi-story Zollverein Parking Deck at the coking plant, which was inaugurated in 2019, is barely recognizable, and not just from a bird’s eye view. It blends harmoniously into the space in front of the new headquarters of the RAG Corporation and the RAG Foundation. Instead of making it stand out from the landscape, the parking level was primarily designed as an underground parking garage and covered with a green landscape panel. The indirect lighting concept accentuates the color of the driveways and entrances. There are 357 parking spaces, almost a third of which have charging stations.
